Carryduff Elim Pentecostal Church

George & Karen Ritchie came to Carryduff Elim in the mid 1980's. In the early 1990's George felt the call of God into pastoral ministry and in June of 1994 he and Karen were called to lead the work of Elim in Carryduff. Then with a family of 3 young daughters they began their ministry with a burning desire to see the church established in the area. George and Karen's 3 daughters are now married with 10 grandchildren.

The church has seen real blessing over the years with ministries established including youth and children's work, Healing Rooms which takes place every Thursday and a ministry to Israel supporting the work of ICEJ. In 2002 the church was delighted to see one of the church's young men Marty Davison pioneer a work in Maues, Brazil.

In 2010 after the acquisition of an adjacent derelict building and land the church made a decision to develop and open a new purpose built Day Care Nursery called "Little Treasures" which has went from strength to strength with over 100 children in both the nursery and after-school unit employing over 25 staff.

Our dream for Carryduff Elim is that it will continue to reach out to the entire community, a church for all the family with a hunger for souls and a passion to worship our Saviour and see lives transformed.
